This position is located at our busy Fontana, CA dealership location.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The Regional Sales Coordinator will be responsible for providing key support to the truck & equipment sales team and Regional Accounting Manager by performing various administrative and organizational functions essential to the sales process. Further responsibilities include compiling and maintaining records of new and used truck & equipment inventory and sales transactions in order to assist the Regional Accounting Manager, Regional Sales Manager, Regional Finance Manager, and General Managers within the region.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides administrative support to truck & equipment sales consultants
  • Assists finance and sales staff with organizing whole goods deliveries from date of arrival to delivery to customer.
  • Issues all internal purchase orders to branch departments for required parts or services, or purchase orders to vendors when required.
  • Records whole goods holds, delivery status, and delivered status in CRM.
  • In collaboration with Truck Marketing & Communications Representative orders/purchases supplies unique to the truck & equipment sales department (i.e. product brochures, specification sheets, specialized letterhead, file folders, key rings and tags, CalPro calendar materials, insurance documentation, etc.).
  • Regularly reviews and provides commentary on region/branch financial schedules
  • In the absence of the Regional Finance Manager or Sales Consultant, assists customers to complete credit applications or signing appropriate documentation.
  • Attends sales staff meetings and provides weekly inventory updates.
  • Performs necessary lien and accident history searches for all incoming trades or used items being purchased by Inland. Obtains necessary clearance of any outstanding liens prior to delivery of the replacement product.
  • Assists sales staff with receiving inventory when it arrives from the factory. Sends necessary paperwork to Head Office.
  • Supports the sales process by assisting with quotes and tenders as required.
  • Coordinates shipping, delivery, and transfers of new and used truck & equipment and all attachments.
  • Provides regular reporting to Home Office on inventory location and status.
  • Processes, tracks, and confirms all warranty registrations of all whole goods.
  • Provides weekly/monthly reporting to sales staff and/or management of deals in progress, sales tracking reports, etc.
  • Prepares whole good transaction documents for customer signature. Ensures documents are free from errors.
  • Reports delivery to Head Office as per company policy.
  • Completes deal files, checking for accuracy of information in CRM/CDK and ensures that costs, taxes, profits, and commissions are calculated correctly.
  • Prepares rental transaction documents for customer signature. Ensures documents are free from errors.
  • Becomes familiar with and complies with the company’s Health & Safety Manual.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
  • One year certificate or diploma in business administration or accounting
  • Two to four years related dealership experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is an asset.
  • Basic accounting/bookkeeping knowledge is preferred.
  • Accurate keyboarding skills with good speed
  • Ability to proactively problem-solve and think logically
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • Functions well with large volume and fast-paced work environment.

SALARY

The salary range for Regional Sales Coordinator is $27.28/hour to $32.62/hour, based on experience.
